Silencers
Pneumatic silencers are intended for reducing the noise level at the exhaust of the used air from pneumatic drives and devices into the atmosphere. The effect of silencers is based on the reduction of acoustic vibration’s energy when exhaust air passes through the porous structure. The silencers made from PCA specify by high volumetric porosity (~55 %) which ensures good flow characteristics and contaminant capacity. The silencer is the single-part casting which combines the porous part and attachment part. It can operate in temperature between -20 to 400° C if there is no risk of the moisture in the air freezing.
The advantages of PCA as compared to analogs:
- high mechanical strength, resistance to cyclic and vibration loads
- heat resistance
- low level of counterpressure
